A year can go by in the so quickly. I am finding as I get older this seems to be more so the case. Whilst each successive day may seem to differ just slightly from the last, when a year has passed, we may find ourselves in an entirely new place from when we began, be it emotionally, physically or even spiritually.
Whilst the past is always best left in the past, I think that reflection is a important; and what better time to reflect on the year than when a new one is just around the corner.
For me, 2014 has been a year of emotional growth. It has been a challenging year, with a lot of personal questions asked and obstacles put in my way to overcome . My biggest lesson learnt within this year has been that, at the lowest times we always will have the strength inside to get us through - we just have to find that strength, and have the courage to face the challenge head on.
Even though 2014 has been a challenging year, it has also had some amazing highs. Finding out I will be an auntie for the first time in 2015, a romantic trip to Paris in June 2014, my older and only sisters wedding in May 2014, many fantastic days out from the races, to forbidden corner, to Whitby and many more with friends, family and of course my lovely other half.
I hope 2015 will hold many more happy days and experiences, even though I know I still have many more lessons to learn; some of which I am sure, will be tricky I can't wait for 2015 to arrive.
What have you learnt in 2014?
