festive inspired questions; because, who doesn't love a good question and answer session.
What's your favorite thing about the festive period?
My favorite thing about the festive period is all the extra socialising that goes on. It's great being able to catch up with friends and family. Oh and all the FOOD of course!!
Do you prefer Christmas Day it's self or the build up to the big day?
I always enjoy the build up to Christmas more than actual Christmas day. I think it's because there's so much going on during the build up, then when the day comes it's usually pretty quiet!
What is your favorite Christmas song?
I can't choose just one! I think it's a toss up between What's This? from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea or Merry Christmas Everyone by Slade...
What Christmas movie will you be binge watching this year?
Elf, or The Grinch!
What's on your Christmas list?
I have actually written a proper list for my hubby as he always gets stuck for ideas! On my list is: the album 'Untamed' by Cam, Black XS perfume by Paco Rabanne, fluffy socks, a pretty necklace from a small seller I spotted on Instagram, and....a baby!! 😂
Do you have any Christmas traditions?
I don't think we do actually which is kinda sad. The only thing I can think of is Aaron (my husband) always put up the tree along with the lights and tinsel, then I add on the baubles and other decorations. But that's more because I can't be bothered with the hassle of the lights etc and he's not fussed about doing the pretty bits!
Do you have any exciting plans for Christmas day?
This year we are heading to my sister's place in Exmouth to stay with her partner and children. It'll be the first Christmas I've spent with her since we were little so it will be special! I'm also looking forward to seeing how excited my nieces and nephews get on Christmas day :)
What do you think is the true meaning of Christmas?
Well we all know the real meaning behind Christmas, but as I'm not religious I view it as a time for spending time with loved ones and appreciating/being thankful for one another.
What's your favorite food to eat round Christmas, traditional or not?
I love all of the extra roast dinners we seem to have, chocolate, cheese and crackers, and pickled onions!! I know that last one sounds ultra weird but for some reason we only ever have them at Christmas and I LOVE them! *heart eyes emoji*
Finally, are you hoping for snow this year?
I'll be honest, no. As much as it looks pretty in the movies, I'm not a fan of it unless we get lots of it but that never happens. I'm always scared of slipping over on the icy patches!
